Are you new to knitting? Have you tried to knit, but thought you could not - everyone can knit - there are over 20 different methods or techniques of knitting. If you need help, have questions or just want to reach out to me - please do. I enjoy hearing from you... my days get busy, but it is always a pleasure to hear from you.

Refresher 101 and 102 Knitting Classes
Meet new knitters, come with friends and learn to knit or improve upon your knitting skill. All levels of knitters welcome.
Bring your questions meet like minder knitters, and crocheters are welcome. Yarn and needles will be provided for the event - if you have a project, please bring - I am looking forward to meeting you and answering your knitting and crafting questions.
Knitting 101 Supply, Starter Kit
Knitting 101 Start Kit:
Knitting Needles: 1 pair of size 8US wooden or Bamboo.
Yarn: 1 Ball/ Skein or Worsted Weight Yarn
Knitting 101 & 102: Learn to Knit, 90 minutes each
Learn to knit, purl, cast-on, cast-off, have a custom video of you knitting as reminder. And, text, call or email me for knitting assistance after class, if you run into difficulties - I am always available to help after a class is over.
Toe-up Socks, 2 classes
These are fantastic socks for notoriously calculating and mischieves toes that make holes in socks in an attempt to escape for fresh air... Toe up socks, do not have seams. I made these socks for my son who found the most creative ways to put holes in store-bought socks. To-date, none of my son's hand-made socks, have had run away toes. Thus, no holes...
Afterschool Knitting - 8 weeks
Knitting classes for all -- for afterschool knitting, Finger knitting for little finger - learn the basics of knitting while finger knitting scarfs, necklaces and other fun items.
Knitting 101: Knit three projects -- Learn to cast on, knit, purl, increase and drop stitches, ribbing (useful for socks, edges to sweaters). We will begin your first project, of knitting either a scarf, hat or socks. Classes runs 60 to 90 minutes.
Knitting 102: Reinforces the techniques learned in
101 and builds upon them (increase stitches, decrease stitches, how to find and correct dropped stitchs, the basics of cable knitting and giving you exposure to knitting short rows, shaping while making a teddy bear, socks, your first shawl, hat or an introduction into making gloves, mittens - you can also choose your own project, or one of the five projects designed for Knitting 102.
Knitting 201: In this class, let's get past the scarf - have you wanted to learn to knit cables, make lace, baby socks for your new baby, christmas stockings for someone special, this class you will work on projects, which are larger than a bred-box. And, a quick refresher of knitting 101 and 102... and, zoom forward to 201 and beyond.
Sign up for a class today for Knitting 101, 102 and 201 Bundle Classes - Each of these three classes are 90 minutes in length. Knitting 101, 102 and 201 are each scheduled separately. You are only limited in your imagination!
